George L. Bridge School in Boulder announces the receipt of $10,000 for its scholarship fund from the William H. Donner Foundation in New York. The Bridge School Scholarship Fund was established in 2001 to provide financial assistance for students who would not otherwise be able to attend the school. This year, nearly a third of Bridge School students received financial assistance through the school's scholarship program.Founded in 1994, Bridge was established to promote the potential of bright middle and high school children with various learning styles. As a small school with class sizes of 10-12, Bridge is able to teach to each student’s individual strengths. With personalized instruction in a values-based culture, Bridge creates pathways to college and success in life. Bridge is an independent, non-profit, co-educational, NCA accredited college preparatory day school. Its strong track record of success speaks for itself – ninety-nine percent of its student’s graduate and matriculate to college. The school is a true bridge – welcoming its students where they are, maximizing their potential and preparing them for life beyond.
