Local Youth Receive Outstanding Volunteer Awards

On Wednesday April 30 11 youth were recognized at a breakfast banquet at A Spice of Life sponsored by the city of Boulder's Youth Opportunities Program/YOAB. The recipients were chosen from a pool of youth nominated by community members for their noteworthy local volunteer work. The awards were presented by youth on YOAB, the Youth Opportunities Advisory Board, in the city's Dept. of Housing and Human Services. The ceremony was attended by the recipients' families, their nominators, their school principals, city officials and community members. The award recipients are:
