Fairview HS Student Invited to Elite Summer Math Program

Charles Xu of Fairview High School has been invited to attend the prestigious Mathematical Olympiad Summer Program (MOSP), June 10 to July 2, at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Each year, 200,000 students across the country participate in the American Mathematics Competitions series of exams, which culminates in the two-day, nine-hour USA Mathematical Olympiad (USAMO). Only the top fifty USAMO scorers are selected to participate in this elite summer program, which will determine which six students will represent the U.S. in the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO), scheduled for July in Madrid, Spain.
