Fairview musicians honored

Fairview seniors Jason Bialick and Meggan Herod have received the Outstanding Senior Award presented by Richard Capp, President of the Boulder Area Music Teachers Association (BAMTA). This award is given to students who have studied with a BAMTA member. Jason and Meggan have participated in BAMTA recitals and festivals since they were both 5 years old. At Fairview both Jason and Meggan have been active in the music program accompanying choral groups, being student leaders in music theatre, participating in jazz festivals, and acting as section leaders for the premier vocal and instrumental ensembles at the school. Jason plans to continue his interest in jazz studies at Emory University in Atlanta. Meggan plans to pursue a degree in musical theatre at Pace University in New York City.
