(July 11, 2008, Boulder, CO)- K.J. McCorry has launched a new sustainability consulting firm, eco-officiency LLC. Eco-officiency will provide expert business advisors and eco-living consultants to assist local Colorado organizations and individuals in becoming more sustainable in their work and personal lives.

Eco-officiency’s business services will work primarily with local Colorado small and medium-sized businesses that want to instill green practices in their business operations but don’t need to hire a full time ‘Corporate Responsibility Officer’ (CRO). Ms. McCorry explains further, “We want to provide expert and trusted advisors that not only help guide a company with a sustainable plan and initiatives, but also assist in implementing and embedding sustainability into the culture of the organization. We want to provide part-time CRO services for organizations that are ready to make sustainability a long-term objective.”

Eco-officiency will also offer ‘eco-living’ consulting services for local Colorado residents who want to create a more eco-friendly/ eco-conscious lifestyle. “Many individuals want to do more to ‘green’ their homes and lifestyle, but don’t have the time to research and implement green solutions by themselves. Eco-officiency wants to be a catalyst and help individuals and families work through those challenges.” says Ms. McCorry.

Ms. McCorry is the current owner of Officiency, Inc. a productivity and efficiency consulting company based out of Boulder, CO. “This is a natural tie-in with my current consulting services. For 12 years, I have been helping organizations streamline their operations to increase efficiency of resources and reduce paper consumption for productivity purposes. I’m now ready to assist organizations even further to become more green and sustainable.” says CEO, K.J. McCorry.

K.J. McCorry has been involved for over 10 years with the Colorado trade associations committed to sustainable business. She served on the board of directors for the Business for Social Responsibility Colorado Chapter (1999-2001), was one of the founders and President of P3 (People, Planet, Profit) Colorado (2001-2004) and now serves as co-President of CORE Colorado (www.corecolorado.org ).
