Empowerment International (EI), a Lyons based 501(c)3 non-profit, is gaining momentum in an all-or-nothing crowdfunding campaign but it needs your help to reach the goal.  EI runs a comprehensive program to keep poor kids in Nicaragua in school.

South Boulder resident Ning Mosberger-Tang and a mother of two has been running the campaign on behalf of EI for two weeks. The goal of the campaign is to raise $20,000 to sponsor 50 kids in the program.  So far the campaign has raised more than $10,000!  An anonymous donor from Canada has pledged to match every dollar raised after the campaign has reached the $10,000 threshold.  Thanks to the generous offer, the campaign will only need to raise an additional $5,000 to reach its goal!  If the campaign doesn't reach the goal by 6/20, it will have to return all the dollars raised to the backers because this is an all-or-nothing campaign.
