Audtions for Fine Arts Guild of the Rockies production of Marriage is Murder March 24 & 25!

Auditions for the Fine Arts Guild of the Rockies production of Marriage is Murder  by Nick Hall will be held on Sunday, March 24 and Monday, March 25 at 6:30 p.m. in the community room of US Bank in downtown Estes Park.  There are roles for one man and one woman, who could play a couple aged mid-thirties to mid-fifties.  Performances will be held at the Baldpate Inn's outdoor venue - the Key-thedral Theatre - August 9-11 and 16-18, 2013.    Rehearsals can be flexible but must be in the evenings and/ or during the day on the weekends. 

The production will be directed by Barb Boyer Buck, director of the 2012 productions Southern Comforts and Love Letters..   She encourages all those who are interested to come out for auditions  - the production is also looking for someone who is available to build the set and another to help with props.   

Marriage is Murder is a romantic comedy/murder mystery about an estranged husband-and-wife writing team who are reunited to create a screenplay.   Since they share the copyright on the famous character they created they are forced to work together -unless one of them dies.  If that happens, all the rights to write about the literary star would revert to the other. This hilarious play with lots of slapstick comedy will keep the audience laughing and in suspense until the final scene.
