Blue Sky Bridge appoints new Executive Director

Blue Sky Bridge is pleased to announce the appointment of Judy Toran Cousin to Executive Director of the agency effective February 9, 2010.

Boulder, Colorado – February 1, 2010 – Blue Sky Bridge is pleased to announce the appointment of Judy Toran Cousin to Executive Director of the agency. Ms. Cousin has been serving on the agency’s Board of Directors since 2007, and has been Chair of the board since May 2009. She will be stepping down from the board to fill the position, which has been vacant since November.

Ms. Cousin is the Founder and President of Health Management Advisors, Inc. (HMA), a consulting firm which provides strategic planning, business development and marketing services to early stage healthcare and manufacturing companies. She has over 20 years experience in marketing and management of large corporations, including Salick Health Care, Inc., Reebok International, Ltd. and Proctor and Gamble. Ms. Cousin has a Masters of Business Administration from Harvard University. She also has a background in children’s issues. In addition to her board service with Blue Sky Bridge, she is a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) with Voices for Children in Boulder, and was a founding member and Treasurer of the Everychild Foundation in Los Angeles.

Blue Sky Bridge is excited about the experience and expertise Ms. Cousin will bring to the Executive Director position. She begins her new role with the agency on February 9, 2010.
