Blue Sky Bridge welcomes new Board Members

Blue Sky Bridge is pleased to announce the addition of Annette Kissinger, Chuck Marcy and Catharine Merigold to the agency’s Board of Directors effective February 11, 2010.

Boulder, Colorado – February 19, 2010 – Blue Sky Bridge is pleased to announce the addition of Annette Kissinger, Chuck Marcy and Catharine Merigold to the agency’s Board of Directors. The new members were voted in at the February 11th board meeting.

For the past 8 years, Ms. Kissinger has taught yoga to children in pre-school and elementary school, as well as in after-school programs for middle and high school students. Ms. Kissinger has also served as a consultant and trainer for schools that want to implement a yoga program as part of their curriculum. Prior to her work with school-children, Ms. Kissinger worked for 18 years in the hotel industry for Hilton International and Inter-Continental Hotels in marketing and training capacities. Ms. Kissinger has been involved with Blue Sky Bridge since moving to Boulder in August 2008 as a member of the agency’s A Moveable Feast™ Planning Committee.

Mr. Marcy is President and Chief Executive Officer of Breyers Yogurt Company (BYC). He has spent his entire career in the food industry, which most recently entailed serving as president and CEO of Horizon Organic, the nation’s leading organic dairy brand. During his tenure at Horizon Organic, Mr. Marcy led the company through a number of milestones, including a merger with Dean Foods in January 2004. In five years, the company grew from $85MM to over $225MM in sales. Mr. Marcy and his wife, Cindy, have been involved with Blue Sky Bridge for many years as hosts and sponsors of A Moveable Feast™.

Ms. Merigold is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Vista Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm which invests in the technology sectors of networking, software and digital media. With over 13 years of venture capital experience and 15 years of operational experience, Ms. Merigold has a depth and breadth of experience in navigating companies through the start-up phase to maturity across a range of industries. Ms. Merigold has been a supporter of Blue Sky Bridge for many years and was recently a dinner host for A Moveable Feast™.
