The Boulder Rotary Club, along with the Boulder Valley Rotary Club, is presenting 10 Boulder Valley students with first-year scholarships to Colorado colleges and universities.

 

The students, all of whom attend schools in the Boulder Valley School District, received scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $3,250 each, and were selected from among 77 applicants.

 

Students honored were:

 

·         Centaurus High School: Valerie Nirschl, Cameron Trezoglou and Tad Schrader.

·         Monarch High School: Nathaniel Pohl, John McCarthy and Davis Haberkorn.

·         Boulder High School: Daniel Sherman, Lupita Sanchez and Karla Salazar.

·         Home-schooled student: Luc Polglaze.

 

Sanchez and Salazar received scholarships from the Bill Fullmer Memorial fund established by Rotarian Carol Ann Fullmer.
