CareConnect has received a $5,000 grant from the Adolph Coors
Foundation to provide volunteer-powered direct services to seniors and
adults with disabilities throughout Boulder County.

These services include weekly grocery shopping and delivery, minor home
repairs, and volunteer-escorted rides to medical appointments.

“The current downturn in the economy has created an even greater demand for
CareConnect services,” said Maureen Ewing, Executive Director of
CareConnect. “This grant allows CareConnect to continue to build the
capacity to meet the independence needs of the rapidly growing Boulder
County senior population.”

The Adolph Coors Foundation is a private family foundation established in 1975. It has awarded almost
4,000 grants totaling over $154 million to community agencies
throughout Colorado.
