Coal Creek Community Theater Presents “Angel Street” by Patrick Hamilton
LOUISVILLE, CO – Coal Creek Community Theater will open their 2nd show of their 21st season on April 23rd. “Angel Street” by Patrick Hamilton, directed by Dan Schock, will run through May 8th at the Louisville Center for the Arts. This suspenseful drama tells the story of the Manninghams who live on Angel St. in the 19th Century. When the curtain rises, Mr. Manningham is slowly torturing his wife, Bella, into insanity under the guise of kindness. While he is out, Mrs. Manningham is visited by Inspector Rough from Scotland Yard. Rough is convinced that Manningham is a maniacal criminal wanted for a murder committed fifteen years earlier in this very house. Gradually, Rough restores Mrs. Manningham's confidence and they build up evidence against Manningham.
