Come join us on September 3, 2009 for an evening celebrating the successful completion of the Middle Boulder Creek stream enhancement project at Platt Rogers Memorial Park. This project was conceived and executed by the Boulder Flycasters, the local Trout Unlimited Chapter, with the active help and support of the City & County of Boulder, the Colorado Department of Transportation, the Sportfish Restoration Act (Fishing is Fun), the Colorado Water Restoration Board, and many individual contributors and volunteers. We returned the stream to a more natural state improving the fish habitat and riparian environment. As a result, Boulder County has a new urban recreation opportunity for the general public. The project has been very successful, so come join us to celebrate! There will be door prizes and a silent auction adding to the festivities as well. Let’s have some fun!!
