The dream outdoor room is almost complete! A 1,500 square foot outdoor space is being transformed into the ultimate backyard. This elaborate outdoor room will feature ideas for cooking, dining, entertaining, and relaxing outdoors. It will include samples of water features, awnings, patio furniture, fire pits, flooring, turf and gardens. Homeowners can visit the display at Fruehauf’s Patio & Garden Center 1665 33rd St., Boulder to find ideas for creating their own ideal outdoor room. Visitors will be able to see, touch and experience high quality products from reputable, unique vendors. The outdoor display will typically be open seven days a week, 10am-6pm, and other times by appointment. The ribbon cutting is scheduled for March 30th, 2009 at noon. The public is welcome to stop by on Monday for cake and sparkling cider. After that it will be complete, yet ever changing, to reflect new outdoor trends.

The outdoor room display has been an idea that Mary Fruehauf, the president of Fruehauf’s, has been wanting to put together for a long time. Garden shows and home parades offer a limited time frame for people to collect ideas. But with this permanent home and garden display people can continuously gather ideas and information. Now The Ultimate Outdoor Room has found a home. An initial partial list of partners includes: Ward’s landscaping of Longmont, Fruehauf’s patio furniture, Borgert paving stones, Sanctuaire awnings, and ProTurf artificial grass. Plus, The Ultimate Outdoor Room features numerous additional products, as well as more potential partners in the future.
