Become a Community STAR (Supporting Teens Achieving Resilience)
Give the gift of mental health care to youth struggling with suicidal thoughts and help save a life! Second Wind Fund of Boulder County (swfbc.org) provides free counseling for youth at risk for suicide who are uninsured or underinsured. Take an ornament off a tree at one of our community partner locations and follow the directions on the back. Locations are: Flatirons Subaru, Louisville Recreation Center, Erie Community Center, Kutandara Center, Monkton Guitars, Otis Craft Collective, Cavegirl Coffee, Young Dentistry, Caraway Orthodontics, and Rich’s Tennis School or go to swfbc.org and click on holiday star program. Thanks to Medtronic and Google for offering donation opportunities for employees and to McGuckin Hardware and private donors for providing the trees for our program.
