Computer Programming Camps: Inspiring the Next Generation of Innovators!

I am excited to announce the introduction of our computer programming summer camps for kids 5-15 years in the Boulder area.  Coding with Kids is brand new to Boulder as of March 2016, having been founded  in Seattle,Washington.  In the Seattle area, Coding with Kids has proven itself to be the largest and most successful organization teaching kids to code!  Our curriculum for camps and after-school programs has been carefully developed by industry experts to lay the foundation that makes for great programmers. Logic, critical thinking and problem solving skills are highly valued and integrated throughout our projects.  Once a child develops strong critical thinking skills, the sky is the limit on which tools of the trade (programming languages) they utilize as they progress.

Coding with Kids recognizes that every child learns differently.  Our curriculum allows students to advance at their own pace.  We meet the children where they are with regards to learning style and skill level.   We utilize project-based activities to teach computer programming concepts, no boring lectures! Whether it is through Scratch games, website development, Python, mobile application development or scientific computation projects we focus on FUN!  Our classes are often a child's very first experience with computer science.  Through our programs, we strive to inspire children to become innovators and creators in order to become successful in the STEM careers of tomorrow!
