Cyber Connections: Strengthening Your Support Online

Sometimes a cancer diagnosis can leave us feeling:

- alone and wanting to connect with others

- tired of giving the latest updates on our health

- a desire to share and inspire others through our story

- like we need help,  but not knowing where to turn

A wealth of valuable and free online resources awaits you.

Hear a panel of survivors and professionals discuss online tools for communicating, coordinating, and connecting with others. Survivors will share their experiences with blogging, social connection sites, and other online resources or support groups to highlight both the benefits and drawbacks of sharing one’s story with cancer online.  A representative from MyLifeLine.org will also explain how you can set up your own free website to communicate with friends and family, build your support network, and coordinate the support that you need.

Cancer patients, post-treatment survivors, family members, friends, and health professionals are all welcomed and encouraged to attend!
