Fifteen Local Restaurants to Recognize National Grandparents Day

Fifteen local restaurants are honoring National Grandparents Day on Sunday, September 9th, by donating a portion of the day’s proceeds to Boulder County Care Connect (BCCC). Funds will further BCCC’s work supporting local seniors and adults with disabilities. Dubbed “Grand Day Out,” this day-long event will encourage multigenerational conversations while raising awareness about the important roles of seniors and grandparents in our community.  Boulder County Care Connect is a local 501(c)(3) non-profit organization celebrating 40 years of promoting the security, comfort, and independence of seniors and adults with disabilities. Volunteer-powered services provide participants with access to transportation, nutrition, healthcare, personal safety, and home maintenance. BCCC’s programs are designed to ensure independence and quality of life for participants while minimizing isolation and encouraging community connection.
