First Annual Lafayette Craft Brew & BBQ Festival

The YMCA of Boulder Valley is partnering with Atlas Valley Wine and Spirits in Lafayette to host the
1st Annual Lafayette Craft Brew and BBQ Festival. The event takes place on the grounds of the
Atlas Valley Shopping Center on September 22, 2012 from 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm. The Festival, a
one of a kind event on the Front Range, is expected to attract both professional and amateur craft
brewers and barbecue teams.  Among those committed are KT’s BBQ, The West End Tavern, Lulu’s BBQ, Avery Brewing Company, Oskar Blues and Left Hand Brewing Company.

Registrations for the competition are being accepted on a first come, first served basis, and
applicants should sign up early. The cost to compete is $175.00 for professional BBQ teams, and
$100.00 for amateur BBQ teams and Craft Brewers. Trophy prizes will be offered for the
professional team, and amateur team declared winners of the festival. Admission for the general
public is $30.00 and $20.00. Sponsors of the event are Atlas Valley Wine and Spirits, Flatirons
Subaru, Daphne’s California Greek, Zevia All Natural Soda, and Avery Brewing.

The proceeds from this event will provide scholarships for kids and families who otherwise would not be able to participate in YMCA of Boulder Valley programs.
