Join the Evergreen 350.org  Work Party

            As part of the 10:10 campaign, Evergreen 350.org and Evergreen High School's Green Team are inviting to an afternoon of information sharing and networking centered around food & lifestyle, home energy and transportation in an effort to bring wider awareness on how to save money and energy through our personal habits and behaviors.

            Join us at the Foothills Energy Forum from 12 noon to 5 pm on Sunday, October 10 at Evergreen High School, 29300 Buffalo Park Road. Admission is free. Donations will be appreciated.

            Inside Evergreen High School's auditorium, a continuous schedule of speakers and panelists will offer valuable information and give opportunities for discussions on various issues surrounding sustainable lifestyle & energy use. Featured speakers will be Jon Hassinger, senior partner and president of CI International, and Rev. Peter Sawtell, Executive Director of Eco-Justice Ministries.  A diverse collection of exhibitors inside the cafeteria will complement the forum discussions.  Non-profit organizations, government agencies and local businesses will present solutions on how to save money and lower the carbon footprint by adding energy saving features to homes and changing transportation and dietary habits. Refreshments will be available.
