The Golden West Foundation will host its 9th Annual “Harvest Event” fundraiser on Thursday, October 15, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., in the main dining room at Golden West, 1055 Adams Circle in Boulder.
The buffet-style menu will include sweet curried butternut soup, salad, sweet potatoes and autumn vegetables, pork loin, spiced roast beef, dessert and beverages. A strolling violinist will entertain and the event includes door prize giveaways such as theater tickets, CU basketball tickets and more. The event costs $25 for adults (13 and older), $10 for children (6-12) and children 5 and under are free. Please call 303-444-3967 for a reservation.
All proceeds from the event will go to the rental assistance fund of the Golden West Foundation, a 501 (c) 3 formed in 1986 to support the vision and mission of Golden West. The rental assistance fund is used to cover the gap between inadequate Medicaid reimbursement rates and actual costs of providing care to residents in assisted living.

Golden West is a not-for-profit community for persons 62 and older, including those with lower to moderate incomes, that provides housing and services in an environment that is supportive of the residents and the community.
