IBMC Hosts Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce Red Ribbon Event

The Institute of Business and Medical Careers (IBMC) hosted the Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce Red Ribbon Event on October 20th at the new campus located at 2315 North Main Street.

At the initial meet and greet, Steve Steele President of IBMC stated, “We are honored to welcome the Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce members at our Red Ribbon Event at our new campus.” After introductions, the Chamber Ambassadors were given tours of the facility and the met IBMC staff and faculty.

At the ribbon cutting the Longmont Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Ms. Kathy Weber Harding stated, “We are very excited that IBMC has come to Longmont.  We see this wonderful new educational institution as being an asset to our community.”  Rich Laub, Owner and CEO then added, “We are very pleased to be a part of the Longmont community, and look forward to working with prospective students in the Longmont region who are interested in attending IBMC”.

Jeff Simcock, the Event Marketing Director of the Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce mentioned that, “IBMC adds value to our community as a great educational option and will help bring career trained employees into the area workplace.”

IBMC differs from many colleges with its hands-on focused career training and very successful graduate placement rate.  In the past AIR (Annual Institution Report) year IBMC had placed 83% of its graduates in their field of study. This is due to the great externship program and the free placement services offered to local employers and students.

IBMC opened with its fist classes on September 20th and is enrolling for up-coming class starts.  Anyone interested in IBMC’s programs may contact the Admissions Team at 303-651-6819 or to go on-line at www.ibmc.edu.

IBMC delivers a wide range of professional life changing opportunities to promote personal, social and career development. The school welcomes a diversity of individuals and encourages a life-long learning for success. The Institute of Business and Medical Careers (IBMC) offers certificate, diploma and Associate Degree programs in Medical Assisting, Pharmacy Technician, Medical Billing and Coding, Paralegal, Business Administration and Accounting, Administrative Assistant and Therapeutic Massage.
