Jax Farmers Market in Lafayette Opening May 11

Jax Farmers Market in Lafayette, located behind Lafayette Marketplace on S. Boulder Road, is opening for the season on Mother’s Day, May 11 at 9am. The first day of the farmers market boasts 29 vendors so far and with that a promising start to a great season. Colorado farms will have spinach and other spring greens, asparagus, plant starts eggs and more. Other vendors include meats, salsa, baked goods, gluten-free sweets, breads, pastries, sauces and rubs, wild caught Alaskan seafood, massage, flowers, crepes, gourmet hot dogs, hand made pretzels and more. Live music from 10am – 12pm by local musician Esther Sparks.

This is the second season of the farmers market in Lafayette. The market is managed by Kelly Williams, who also runs the Louisville Farmers Market.
