Kindergarteners Study the Four Mile Canyon Fire in Boulder

As slurry bombers soared over the classrooms, Apple Tree Christian Kindergarteners were learning about wildfires and their devastating effects on communities, wildlife, and forests.  Mrs. Forman and Mrs. Finnegan facilitated discussions and read stories as part of their current events lesson.  Students painted wildfire scenes to illustrate what is going on in nearby Boulder.  The children expressed empathy and curiosity as they prayed for the people whose lives have been forever changed by the Four Mile Canyon Fire.
