Legacy High School Cheerleaders are adding to the list of charities that they are helping all over the communities of Colorado. Several members of the squad, and some of their parents, gave up their Saturday afternoon to spend it at the Denver Ronald McDonald House to help with several chores that were needed to keep this wonderful house in tip top shape. The girls cleaned and cleaned, organized playrooms and did various jobs all around the huge Center. One of the parents, Tim Bottoms, was even the handyman for the day! The girls that volunteered were: Heidi Pierce, Michelle Sisneros, Ashley Gottino, Jordyn Wagner, Kendell McNulty, Katie Anderson, Alex Vanderboogaard, Chelsea Beamer and Kelli Demy.

The Ronald McDonald House helps families address their problems regarding health care. Whether those problems involve how to stay near and support a hospitalized child, how to afford staying together in another city while a child is undergoing treatment, or even getting basic medical and dental care in an under served community.

It was with great pride that the Legacy Cheerleaders gave of their time and backbone to help this great Charity for the afternoon. Now that they are on board with this Charity, the Cheer Squad looks forward to giving of their time on a regular basis to help make the house a more comfortable place to stay for all the families that are staying there.

Way to go Legacy Cheer! Giving Colorado a better view of what Cheerleaders are really all about!
