Local Theatre Company Puts on Staged Reading to Benefit Marshall Fire Victims

My name is Caleb Loewengart, I am a junior at Centaurus High School, and I live in Louisville. Needless to say, this past month has been incredibly hard for our community. So many open spaces, homes, and memories are now in ruin. Watching it all unfold I felt helpless in a moment when I wanted to do anything I could.

When figuring out ways to help, my mind default to the arts, about which I'm incredibly passionate. I love theatre, so when we got back to school after winter break, I proposed the idea of a staged reading to our high school theatre director, Jay Kinsel. He was on board immediately and we started figuring out the logistics thereafter.

On February 11 @ 7PM, we will be performing Neil Simon's Rumors, a hilarious show that is sure to go off with a bang and leave you laughing through the end. Tickets are $10 and all ticket sales and donations from the night will be donated to Impact for Education's Crisis Fund, helping BVSD families affected by the Marshall Fire. We would love to see you there!
