Local Veterinarian Warns of Pet Poisoning Dangers

Veterinarian Lee Woods has treated pets poisoned by prescription drugs, rat poison and a compost pile during the past month. So Woods and his staff at Broadway Animal Hospital in Boulder created a brief poison prevention video to reach as many pet owners as possible and educate them about the dangers of common household items. Woods is promoting the video as part of this year’s Pet Poison Prevention Week, March 16 – 20.“Pet Poison Prevention Week allows us to focus on educating and empowering our community so that beloved pets don’t end up in our hospital for emergency poisoning treatments,” Woods says.
