LOCAL WEST POINT CADET MAKES DEAN’S LIST

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Cadet Brian Tsien, son of Selina and Wu Tsien of Boulder, has been named to the Dean’s List with Distinguished Cadet Academic Recognition for the Fall Semester – August through December at the U.S. Military Academy. To earn this distinction, a cadet must maintain a 3.67 average or above in all courses. Brian graduated from Boulder High School, Boulder, Colorado in 2008 and will be commissioned a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army upon graduation at West Point in 2012. The mission of the U.S. Military Academy is to educate, train, and inspire the Corps of Cadets so that each graduate is a commissioned leader of character committed to the values of Duty, Honor, Country and prepared for a career of professional excellence and service to the Nation as an officer in the United States Army.
