Meals on Wheels of Boulder elected Rick Gabrielsen to its board of directors at its October meeting.
Gabrielsen recently co-founded Kupuna Hospitality with his wife Laurie. The firm offers complete management services to hotel owners. Prior to forming Kupuna Hospitality, Rick held the position of Area Vice President for Hilton Worldwide, managing company-owned and or managed brands of Hampton Inn, Hilton Garden Inn, Homewood Suites and Embassy Suites hotels in the Mountain — West region and Mexico.
He has been a volunteer with Meals on Wheels of Boulder for the past seven years and organizes a team of drivers from the Rotary Club of Boulder. He was recognized recently by the Rotary Club for his work with Meals on Wheels of Boulder.
He and his wife Laurie have lived in Colorado for more than 20 years. They have three grown children.

Meals on Wheels of Boulder was founded in 1969 and is a locally administered and funded not-for-profit organization serving residents of Boulder. Meals on Wheels’ clients include individuals of all ages and economic abilities who may be confined to their homes for any reason, including recovery from surgery, an illness or long- or short-term disabilities. It has provided more than 1.6 million meals to Boulder residents since its founding.
