Senior Divya Arcot from Monarch High School has been selected as a receipient for the NCWIT (National Center for Women in Information Technology) Award for Aspirations in Computing. Divya is the project manager for the Monarch High School FIRST Robotics team and along with co-captain Noah Clark spent eight weeks last summer as an intern at the Johnson Space Center in Houston.

In recognition of her award, Divya will receive $500 cash award, a laptop computer and will be flown along with her mother to Charlotte NC where she will be presented with her award at the Bank of America Stars of the Future Technology Showcase and Awards Ceremony on March 27th.
