Monarch High School Students Awarded NASA Internships

Monarch High School Juniors Divya Arcot and Noah Clark will be working as paid interns at the Johnson Space Center this summer. Divya and Noah are both member of the Monarch FIRST Robotics team, aka the Shazbots. Divya serves as the project manager for the team; Noah is the lead CAD designer. The students were chosen from a large pool of applicants for the ten slots at Johnson. After a rigorous selection process Noah and Divya went through phone interviews last week before finding out on Wednesday of this week (April 15th) their application had been accepted. Besides being member of the robotics team, Divya and Noah were both inducted into the National Honor Society earlier this week in a ceremony held at Monarch. The futures look very bright for these young engineers.
