Lafayette Senior Services Celebrates the 16th Annunal National Senior Health & Fitness Day® with a Health & Wellness Fair!

Lafayette Senior Services will join an estimated 1,000 local events to celebrate the 16th annual National Senior Health & Fitness Day® (NSHFD), on May 27, 2009. As an official host site, Lafayette Senior Services will hold a Health & Wellness Fair at Waneka Lake Park West, 1600 Caria Drive, May 27th from 10:00 AM-3:00 P.M. (Rain location VFW Post# 1771, 105 W. Emma Street, Lafayette, CO 80026)

On this day, Lafayette Senior Services will join an estimated 100,000 seniors across the country excected to help promote active, healthy lifestyles through physical fitness, good nutrition and preventive care. According to Renee Fabini, Our Heath & Wellness Fair is a wonderful opportunity for seniors to make, renew, and revitalize their commitment to live healthier lives through better health and fitness.

Many activities are planned throughout the day including:informational booths, fitness and wellness class demonstrations, a healthy walk, lunch and dessert with three special guest speakers.
Lunch will be served at 12:00 noon and you must RSVP for lunch no later then May 26th by 5:00 p.m. at 303-665-9052 ext 0. Enjoy a day of fun, fitness & health at Waneka Lake geared towards Active Adults with health & wellness.
