"The Celtic Experience” with Rocky Mountain Brassworks on March 5th

On March 5th at the Broomfield Auditorium, the Rocky Mountain Brassworks will bring to life beautiful brass interpretations of old and magical Celtic tunes, including “The Spirit of the Celts,” “Highland Cathedral”
and “For the Love of a Princess” from the movie Braveheart.  They will be
joined on stage by members of the Centennial State Pipes and Drums for a
powerful and moving brass and bagpipe performance, and will also be joined by
renowned euphonium soloist Aaron Tindall.

Board President Doug Harris commented during a recent rehearsal, “We have a very special performance planned for the evening.  We will perform two movements
from “Hymn of the Highlands” by noted composer Phillip Sparke.  The first selection, “Summer Isles” is a
warm, smooth and melodic piece that features an excellent euphonium musician,
Aaron Tindall.  We’re also very pleased
that Aaron is our guest conductor for the evening.  The second movement is “Strathcarron,” a
powerful selection that will surround and overwhelm the audience with beautiful
music.  You don’t want to miss it!”

Tickets are available at the door or through www.rockymountainbrassworks.org. Ticket prices are; $15 Adults, $10 Seniors & Students, and children under 12 are free. We also
offer a special Family Pack for $30 that includes the parents and all children
18 and under in the immediate family.  All seats are general admission -
doors open at 7pm and the concert starts at 7:30pm. The Broomfield Auditorium
is located at 3 Community Park Road, Broomfield, Colorado.

including; marches, classical music, pop and show tunes, swing, holiday
selections, patriotic music, and orchestral transcriptions.  We perform several concerts in the Denver area
each year and support public school music education with our free school
