Rohan Adam Jesudason and Phillip Ryan Mitchell have earned the rank of Eagle Scout with Boy Scout Troop 78, sponsored by St. Andrew Presbyterian Church in Boulder. They were both awarded their ranks at a Court of Honor held August 6, 2009, at St. Andrew. Jesudason performed his Eagle service project with Eco-Cycle of Boulder and Longmont. He first received training himself as an Eco-Leader, and then trained other Eco-Leaders from Troop 78, teaching them about the Zero Waste concept, and involved those he trained in a variety of recycling projects in Boulder County. Mitchell’s Eagle service project involved the maintenance of community gardens on the grounds of St. Andrew Church and the construction of paths to the gardens.

Jesudason is now a freshman at the University of Vermont in Burlington, VT, and Mitchell is a senior at Fairview High School.
