Veteran's Day Lesson

Veronica Elsis, 5 1/2, looks on as her father Ron Elsis brushes leaves off of an unrelated veteran's tombstone at the Mountain View Cemetery in Longmont, Tuesday, November 11, Veteran's Day. The Elsis family has a nephew, Matthew Huffman, in the U.S. Marine Corps. Elsis took off work today for this father-daughter outing, to teach Veronica about the importance of honoring our men and women in service.

Gary: Thanks, I firmly believe our children need to learn the importance of how our freedom is earned and exactly who is responsible for it.
