Waldorf Kindergarteners Welcome Spring at Annual May Faire

Seasonal celebrations have been honored throughout the centuries as a signal of rhythmic changes in the lives of people on all continents. One such celebration that is much anticipated in the lives of children ages 18 months through 6 years is the annual May Faire on May 14th at the Boulder Waldorf Kindergarten, an early childhood center in north Boulder. This year's in-school festival kick's off with a live bluegrass band performing on the school's two-acre micro farm property, along with May crown-making, tissue butterfly creations, goat milking, picnicing, face painting and the quintessential May Pole dance. For more information about this educational option for families in Boulder County, visit www.boulderwaldorf.com. You can also find them on Face Book and follow the schools and it's many activities on Twitter.
