Ward Jaffe wins 12 trophies at Young Musician of America Competition

Ward Jaffe, age 13 and a senior at Fairview High, took home 12 trophies this past weekend at the YMA competition held at the Embassy Suites in the Denver Tech Center. Ward participated in a record 17 categories including piano, keyboard and accordion. Of the 14 categories where trophies were awarded, Ward took home six 1st place and seven 2nd place trophies. He was also chosen by the judges to perform at the Sunday award ceremony.
