Weatherwax, Secrist in line to lead Boulder Rotary
Boulder Rotary Club chose a president-elect and elected four new board members this month.
Darla Schueth, currently serving as president, will be succeeded in July by president-elect Michael Weatherwax, chosen last year. Weatherwax will serve as president through June 2011.
Schueth is executive director of Hospice of Boulder and Broomfield Counties and Weatherwax is president of the accounting firm Weatherwax & Associates.
Ron Secrist, former Boulder city manager who now heads the Boulder Community Hospital Foundation, was chosen president-elect and will serve as president in 2011-2012.
Elected to the club’s Board of Directors were Bill Ahlstrand, an attorney with Caplan and Earnest; Michelle Carpenter, a Spanish teacher at Boulder High School who directs the Adelante! program for at-risk Latino students; TK Smith, a financial advisor with Edward Jones; and Nancy Stocker, a broker with Real Estate of the Rockies.
