About WDC
The Women’s Development Council, Inc. is a nonprofit organization formed by businesswomen in Northern Colorado. The founders saw the need in our community for opportunities for women to develop their business skills through education, networking, and community service. During the first few years, the Women’s Development Council provided educational and motivational seminars to assist women entering the workforce and established businesswomen in furthering their careers.

The seminars led to the creation of separate businesswomen’s groups in Northern Colorado, so that businesswomen may meet, learn, and share new ideas on a more frequent and individualized basis. The WDC oversees and assists the four member businesswomen’s groups, encompassing more than 250 businesswomen include, including the Business Women’s Network of Fort Collins (www.BWNFC.org), Loveland Business Women’s Network, Windsor Business Women’s Network and Greeley Business Women’s Network (www.gbwn.info). Monthly meetings are well-attended by our members and the public at large. Each group provides its own unique opportunities for women to grow personally and professionally by learning from strong businesswomen in the community.
