Xcel Continues Support of Local Program Serving Older Adults in Boulder County

For the past seven years, Xcel Energy has proven to be a wonderful community partner for a program that supports frail, low-income, older adults remain in their homes - Project HOPE.  Those in the program are at high risk of entering an institution and thanks to generosity of partners, like Xcel Energy, and our donors, the program is able to provide needed services that make the difference for these older adults.

On May 10th, Craig Eicher, Xcel Energy's Area Manager, Boulder Region, and Mark Fox, Director of the Valmont Station presented a check for $3,000 to the Aging Services Foundation Board making this the eighth year they have made a financial contribution to the Foundation for Project HOPE.

Xcel's support of community programs, such as Project HOPE, often goes unnoticed and the ASF board wants to recognize that Xcel is about more that generating energy - they also generate hope!
