We live out in the country, pretty isolated, and are continually grateful for those unsung heroes - delivery persons, who connect us to the outside world; braving challenging weather conditions, gravel roads, rickety vehicles, early nightfall, etc…
So, when MisterM made a porch box for missed deliveries, we placed little holiday goodie bags inside for them. The delivery persons we have talked to have all expressed their thanks in return.
Looking forward to tailoring treats to match the seasons :))).

Wonderful Kindness Journey
I am grateful to my son and his wife who gave me a ride to the airport. My son checked my luggage and got my boarding pass. He waited until the wheelchair assistant came.
Gave birthday cards and quote cards to flight desk clerk. She was surprised to receive them and thanked me with a smile and a namaste.
Namaste meaning from the internet:
Respect & Reverence: A traditional way to honor elders, teachers, or deities. Greeting/Farewell: Used for saying "hello" or "goodbye.”
Equality & Unity: Recognizes the shared divine essence in everyone, fostering oneness.
Gratitude: Expresses thanks and appreciation.
Mindfulness: Promotes presence and introspection, common in yoga and spiritual practices.
The Gesture (Añjali Mudra): “Hands pressed together, palms touching, fingers pointing up, held near the chest.“Accompanied by a slight bow.“Can be performed wordlessly, carrying the same meaning.
Talked to the wheelchair assistant about positive thinking. Shared the story of a woman’s intense positive thinking that saved her husband's life. I also told her Fatemah story whose life changed for the better after receiving a quote card from me. Also talked about KindSpring.Org and rewarded her with a birthday card and quote cards.
I gave some quote cards to the passengers waiting before boarding began. I positively wanted to talk to a passenger seated on my right side after I finished my lunch, but he left before I could finish my lunch. Guess what? My positivity found it was the same passenger who happened to sit next to me in the middle seat on the plane. I told shared intense positivity story, Fatemah story, about KindSpring.Org, and cracked jokes. The passenger seated near the window was also listening to me on my request. I rewarded both of them with quote cards. Guess more...The middle seat passenger was there to probably just to listen to me. After talking to the flight hostess, he moved. I thank Sai Baba for sending him at the right seat and at the right duration of time.
I gave birthday cards and quote cards to the flight hostess who welcomed and served us. One hostess helped me place my carry-on bag in the overhead space. I gave her BC and QCs. One of them gave me a cup of roasted nuts. Due to my allergies, I do not eat the meal they provide.
Talked to another hostess about intense positivity story, KindSpring.org and cracked jokes. I also told her that while giving QC, BM and BC, I think that God residing in me is giving to the God residing in the receivers. I also encouraged her to think the same way while serving each and every passenger.
While waiting to transfer the plane in Abu Dhabi, gave QCs to 3 sets parents with kids. I gave QC to the wheelchair assistant at Abu Dhabhi. On his request, I gave QCs to another wheelchair assistant who entered the lift.
I gave QCs to the airport staff at the boarding gate, told them intense positivity and Fatemah story.
I gave some baby handkerchiefs made by Utthan.
In the plane from Abu Dabhi to Mumbai, I talked to the lady seated next to me perhaps for a couple of hours. Telling her intense positivity story, Fatemah story, about Uttha, in detail, KindSpring and some of my positive experiences from school days to the present time and how Sai Baba has helped me several times in my life and still helping me every day. I also cracked some jokes. She thanked me profusely and told her story as well. She lives and works in Germany and came for a 3-week vacation. I wished her all the best and prayed to Sai Baba for the wellbeing of all the beings including her. I recommended her five books to read that have helped me a lot in my life to stay positive. People say they feel positive vibes with my presence. It is all the blessings of Sai Baba. I gave her bunch of the quote cards I had with me.
I am grateful to my nephew, his wife and daughter to picking me from the airport and for accommodation in their newly rented apartment. I am enjoying nice food and talks too.
I received many thanks and smiles in return to my kindness. I firmly believe that I am not the real doer but God is. I pass all the praises and gratitudes to Him.
I am extremely grateful to Sri Sathya Sai Baba for sending me all these opportunities my way and for His help and guidance to manifest them.
I am also grateful to dear KS friend who helped me put this post in perspective.
Strong in solidarity, truth, kindness & clarity. 🕊️ 💪

🎄 🕊️ For all of our kind friends, a copy of our Christmas card letter:
“Peace on earth will come and stay when we live Christmas every day!”
- Helen Steiner Rice
In our small way, we try to live Christmas every day by making and sharing origami Peace Doves, along with supporting values and organizations that we believe to be important. Over 70,000 origami Peace Doves have been shared since 2013! They have “flown” to every continent on their mission of Peace.
Here are a few examples of Peace Doves shares in 2025:
A basket full for the stART Talking community event at the Custer Beacon, along with a display board of positive post-it notes. 150 orange Doves for Zonta’s “16 Days of Activism to End Gender-Based Violence.” A much appreciated flock accompanying a donation to South Dakota Humanities Council. Included with over 400 origami turtles celebrating a turtle release at Padre Island National Seashore. Flocks to friends and family that were then shared at rallies and as per their inspiration. To https://syracuseculturalworkers.com/ almost 2000 Doves for them to graciously include in their orders! Doves to almost every taxi and tour driver, waitstaff, fast food cashier, clerk and housekeeping worker that we connected with throughout the year.
A few extra memorable Dove gifts this year: Sunflower Doves in
memory of our dear friend Janice. Attendants on our flight to Hawaii,
with appropriate positive Aloha and Mahalo post-it notes. Military
servicewoman who said she’d hang the Dove by her bunk as she traveled
the world. A creative server in a local restaurant who displayed them
artfully throughout the dining area in once empty frames. A woman in
Honolulu restroom who cried as we hugged, sharing that her daughter
had just passed.
As we face an ever more challenging world, please take a
moment this holiday season to reflect on what you have done to
be the change you want to see. We wish you the strength to continue
to do so with an open heart, courage, compassion and respect.
Every prayer, every love in action, makes a kind difference.
Much love, hope and blessings for a PEACE
filled Christmas, every day!

Recently, I purchased some dark chocolate snowman lollipops from a very good chocolate shop. I've handed them out to people I cross paths with when I take my walk. Two went to the crossing guards who take care of the elementary school that I pass. This week, one the crossing guards told me that he enjoyed his with his morning cup of coffee before he went on duty. Sweet!...
