2009 FIRST Robotics Regional Competition Field

The 2009 FIRST Robotics Regional Competition at the DU Richie center in Denver on Friday and Saturday. This year, the game was called "Lunacy" for the 40th anniversary of landing on the moon. The game involved a three on three robot competition, on a low friction field, to simulate the gravity on the moon’s surface. The robots had trailers attached to them, teams had to get "moon rocks," a nine inch ball, into their opponent’s hopper. More information at www.usfirst.org or www.shazbots.org
