Chad Jukes, an Iraq veteran, rides in a charity bike trip sponsored by Boulder nonprofit Community Cycles. Seventeen riders pedaled from the Community Cycles shop in Boulder to a camping spot in Fort Collins on Sept. 5, and then on to the Tour de Fat in Fort Collins the next day. Jukes, who lost his leg while serving in Baghdad, and the other cyclists, rode more than 40 miles to raise $1,400 for the Center for People with Disabilities.
