Champions of King of the Mountain Volleyball

Champions Kaleigh Humphrey (Monarch High School) and Rachel Romansky ('Wheatridge High School) won the USA Junior Girls Division 18's in Vail this past weekend in the 34th Annual King of the Mountain Volleyball Tournament. Both girls will be Juniors next year at their respective High School. With this victory, they are eligible to compete in Huntington Beach, CA August 16th for the National Championship. Both girls play together on the Denver Parks and Rec Club Team which will be traveling to Dallas for the National Junior Olympics at the end of this month. The girls will be competing against the top 48 U16's club teams in the USA. Their club team is coached by Regis Woman's Head Volleyball Coach, Frank Lavrisha, also a Louisville resident.
