4 Boulder H.S. National Model U.N. Award Winners

Four Boulder High School Model United Nations team members earned top awards at the four day, National H.S. Model U.N. in New York City.
Rosa Baum, Aidan Milliff, Emily Thompson, and Peter Repucci (L-R) earned the top two awards in the elite, invitation only, Historic Security Council. Thompson and Repucci, representing the Franco regime of 1969 Spain, earned the top award.
The four B.H.S. students researched, negotiated, and wrote resolutions to resolve the 1969 segregationist repression and violence in Rhodesia.
2,500 students from 22 countries participated in simulated U.N. councils. Most participating schools were east coast and international private, preparatory schools.
21 Boulder H.S. students participated, but awards were only given in the elite, small councils.
