2009 Rides & Rods Weekend

Motorcycles and hot rods, here’s your chance to rev your engines before the end of season. On Saturday, September 12, the starting point will be INVESCO Field at Mile High. This is a clever, five-stop scavenger run. The final stretch of road will take you up the Central City Parkway to this historic Colorado town for our after-party on Main Street. With the help of Central City and Fortune Valley, you’ll enjoy food, vendors and live bands. Emilio Emilio and the Redline Rockets are on the band lineup. Ribbons will be awarded to best bikes and hot rods. The Joshua School will host a family tent. Don’t worry, if the weather turns, we’ll move the party above Doc Holiday’s Casino. There’s plenty of covered parking for bikes and rods. If you don’t have either one, you can purchase a wristband on Main Street for the party. Check out ridesandrodsweekend.com.
