Bird with Prey

This picture was taken by Trey Harman, who is 10 years old. I was blown away to find my son had captured this moment. Shooting a moving hawk that flies by pretty close is very tough to catch the action. The next picture is a wider crop. If you look closely you can see the rodent still clenching a root or some hay behind his two front teeth. Taken North of Boulder Reservoir.
