The Monarch High School FIRST Robotics Team was awarded the Xerox award for Creativity at the Colorado Regional FIRST Robotics competition held at the University of Denver on March 26-28. The award fro given for the students mechanical design of a hopper system which could pick up a ball off the floor and deliver it into a hopper atop the robot. The ball could then be delivered in any of three directions by a pneumatic driven system.
