About Me (optional):
David Bjorkman is an international photojournalist and President of Zone 913 Press and Zone 913 Photo Agency. Since 1996 David and writer Victoria Thomas, basing themselves in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico, have documented the Maya and the rebuilding of their ancient pyramids. They have produced six books, seven photo essays and a museum exhibit of David's photo documenting the only school in the world teaching the 3,000-year-old Maya Ballgame. Both David and Victoria are members of the Explorers Club.
