This is the 4th book in the Sammy & Robert series of fun, rhyming, and educational children's stories. In this book there are 3 full length stories.
The first story is entitled: Sammy & Robert See Amphibians & Reptiles. In this story the two squirrels are out exploring and come across a place where some amphibians and reptiles are kept. They go in, see, and learn about a few of each. A frog, salamander, alligator, and some snakes are a few.
The second story is entitled: Sammy & Robert See A Bird Sanctuary. In this story Sammy & Robert are exploring one day and come across a bird sanctuary. They go in, see, and learn about an albatross, eagle, owl, and peacock to name just a few.
The third story is entitled: Sammy & Robert Learn About Some Insects. In this story Sammy, the big gray squirrel, and Robert, the small red one, walk around one day finding and learning about some insects and bugs. An ant, beetle, bee, fly, and mosquito are a few. The time of year is fall, the weather is getting colder, and food is harder to find. By the end of the story Sammy is starting to think it is time to go home, and get Robert home- who depends on him for food and warmth at night.
